Travel & Visas

FCT 2027 will take place in Craiova, Romania. Romania is a member of the European Union and the Schengen Area; visa requirements depend on your country of citizenship.

Visa Requirements

Detailed visa requirements will be published here closer to the conference.

If you require a visa invitation letter, please contact the organizing committee.

Getting to the Conference

1. Fly directly to Craiova. Craiova Airport has regular flights operated by WizzAir connecting to several European cities, including Birmingham, London, Bari, Napoli, Rome, Bologna, Bergamo, Memmingen, Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, and Brussels, as well as by AnimaWings to Istanbul. Flights are not operated daily, so check the schedule carefully.

2. Fly to Henri Coandă International Airport in Otopeni, near Bucharest, then travel on to Craiova by bus, train, or car:

• Shuttle bus: operated by B&B Ilan Travel.
• Train: regular services from Bucharest Nord station to Craiova. Bucharest Nord is reachable from Henri Coandă Airport by express train or taxi.
• Car: the fastest option — via the A1 motorway and DEX, about 2.5 hours (242 km).
